About the project

The Media Monitoring Repository of AI Incidents in Indonesia is an initiative by EngageMedia intended to document and analyze the nuances, depth, and variety of harms caused by AI incidents today. The initiative documented publicly reported incidents that have alleged AI involvement within them, starting from the year 2022 onwards.

It is inspired by many existing global AI Incident trackers, including but not limited to the MIT AI Risk Tracker and AIAAIC. It adopts existing taxonomies on AI risks and harms that have been published by scholars and experts, such as that by OECD.

How to use the database

  • A common frame of reference for researchers, developers, businesses, evaluators, auditors, policymakers, and regulators
